Welcome to MoneyMission. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MoneyMission app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What MoneyMission is

MoneyMission is a financial education product. It teaches money concepts through lessons, quizzes, games, and an AI helper called MoneyBot. It includes tools for budgeting and tracking. MoneyMission is not a bank, broker, lender, or financial advisor.

2. Who can use it

• The Service is designed for learners roughly ages 8 to 25.
• Children under 13 may use MoneyMission only with a parent or guardian's involvement and consent. A child under 13 plays inside a parent's account. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's data.
• If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian permits your use of the Service.
• To purchase a paid subscription you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase.

3. Your account

We use passwordless sign-in: you enter your email and we send you a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. MoneyMission Pro subscriptions

• Some features require a paid subscription ("MoneyMission Pro"), offered at $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, and may include a free trial.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged at the then-current price. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the account screen, which opens the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices may change. We will give notice of price changes before they apply to your next renewal.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. The free trial is provided so you can evaluate Pro before being charged.

5. Connecting a bank (Plaid)

If you choose to link a bank account, we use Plaid to connect securely and to retrieve transaction and balance information so the budgeting tools can work. Linking is optional. You can disconnect at any time from within the app, which removes the link on our side. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. MoneyBot (AI)

MoneyBot generates responses using a third-party AI provider. Its answers are educational and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for real financial decisions, and do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes not attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it, not using it unlawfully, and not submitting content that is abusive, infringing, or harmful.

8. Intellectual property

The lessons, characters, games, text, and design in MoneyMission are owned by MoneyMission and its licensors and are protected by law. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the content without permission.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome will result from using it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoneyMission is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
